Much has been said about the life of luxury that cats enjoy. What is not to love — nap, eat, sleep, yawn, snack, sleep some more.

However, as cats age and get a little squishy around the middle their owners are drawn to purchase at the local grocery such digestive delicacies as “Indoor Weight & Hairball Care” formula from Iams. (I am so glad that I am not a cat!) The only reason our cats (Zora and Oslo) were scarfing on the new Iams formula the moment Diane filled their bowls this evening is because it wasn’t Science Diet triangle-shaped cardboard cat food. Did I say how glad I am not a cat?
