About me

1. I love my wife. It would be difficult to talk about me without bringing Diane into the discussion. We have been married since 1977 and know each other so well it is scary. She is my life companion who helps me to interpret what life is about. I have learned what is important in life from Diane.
2. I make my living as a computer technician. Which means I get asked all kinds of questions about technical things and people actually except me to know what I am talking about. This job has changed me in two ways: I have learned patience through pain and I have been humbled daily by being brought face-to-face with the fact that I don’t know everything.
3. I follow Jesus Christ. I try to love God and love people like Jesus did. It is hard — really, really hard. People are complicated beings and I have more than my share of faults, but I am trying to be real. One real thing to me is that I have been changed by meeting Jesus.
4. I like beer. Not the big brewery brands that make watery, tasteless grog — but real, hand-crafted malted grain beverages that elicit smiles. This photo is our visit to New Belgium Brewing Company in Fort Collins, Colorado. My Dad and I are perusing the sample menu, and tasting a few. I think I tasted them all, but my favorite is still their 1554 — Belgium Black Ale.
